Greg Kuperberg graduated from Harvard University in 1987 and received a Ph.D. in mathematics from UC Berkeley in 1991. His advisor was Andrew Casson. He joined the mathematics department at UC Davis in 1996. He believes that a day without bicycling is not a perfect day.
