Kazuyuki Amano received his Ph.D. in 1996 from Tohoku University under the supervision of Akira Maruoka. Since 2006, he has been an associate professor at Gunma University. His research interests include computational complexity and combinatorics. He enjoys writing computer programs to solve puzzles and problems of discrete mathematics.
